Integration Circles

Integration comes in all shapes and sizes, varying by person and context, but the support and power of the circle is undeniable. Wherever we may be on our path, gathering in circle offers the chance for us to come together and walk alongside each other in support, sharing our stories and, together, weaving a collective remembering and wisdom.

Integration circles are rooted in the idea that collectively, we have the wisdom and power to discover our needs and how to meet them. They offer an opportunity to be led by the community, for the benefit of the community, believing that each of our experiences and stories are important and hold wisdom for ourselves and others.

These circles offer a time and safer space for us to speak, authentically from the heart, in the presence of others who may understand. We can come, however we are, to share our difficulties, confusions, uncertainties, revelations, joys, questions, and we can be seen, heard, supported, and listened to from the heart. Together we explore, learn, and grow a little wiser from each other and closer in community.

What to Expect

  • Length: 1.5-2 hours, depending on the number of participants

  • Structure

    • Opening: introductions, and meditation or exercise

    • Sharing: everyone who would like to (not required) has the chance to share openly and receive reflections / support from the group. *Sharing can be anything about an experience or what came from it - what took place, insights, reflections, questions, confusions, discomforts, difficulties.

    • Closing: short meditation or exercise

    • Hang Time: we usually have time for people to hang out after, if they'd like

  • Agreements:

    • Participation and content shared is confidential

    • Consent around advice: this is not a time or place for advice giving unless the person sharing has specifically asked for it

    • Share from our own direct experiences, using "I", "me”, "my” vs. “you”, “your”

    • Listen and share from the heart

  • What to prepare/bring for sharing:

    • You don't need to know what you're going to share about exactly. If you feel the call, come. Oftentimes the right things come flowing out naturally on their own.

    • If you'd like, something meaningful to you for the altar

FAQ

Q: I haven’t had a psychedelic experience recently, can/should I still come?

A: Yes! Sometimes things can come up from and connect to experiences that took place years ago. As well, we have been going through quite psychedelic times so there may be something that comes up from this.

Q: I’m not sure I feel like sharing anything, but I’m interested in participating.

A: Feel free to join. If you don’t wish to speak and share, that’s perfectly ok, too. This is about listening, being present and learning, as much as it is about sharing and speaking.
